By learning about global warming and helping others understand the issues, you can make a difference! Here are some things you can do every day: Walk or ride your bike to school, take the bus, or carpool Recycle (paper, plastic and glass) Reuse things when possible Reduce waste Drink tap or filtered water (instead of bottled) Avoid plastic bottles Turn lights and computers off when not in use Use cloth bags (instead of paper or plastic) Ask your school to provide recycling bins Here […]

Global warming is the rising temperature of the earth’s surfaces, including the air surrounding the earth and the oceans. Global warming is caused by the accumulation (building up) of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. Some of these gases come from plants, some come from animals and some from humans. For instance, cows and sheep produce methane.
