Eric Shansby was the winner of our second annual Amazing Kids! Comics Contest 2001.  As part of our Amazing Mentors! program, Eric had the opportunity to work with Guy Gilchrist, as his mentor for an entire year! 

Guy is the award-winning syndicated cartoonist, children's book author and illustrator who draws the Nancy comic strip and is the creator of Mudpie.  He generously donated his time for a second time after mentoring the previous year's winner, Laura Tisdel.  Thank you, Guy!  We love you!!!
